The revised Developer Beta version of iOS 26 appears to fix a serious battery issue that was identified by several testers in the original beta.

With the first release of the Developer Beta of iOS 26, many developers and testers reported excessive battery consumption, with the iPhone losing a significant amount of charge even in standby mode.
What the revised version brings:
- Improved energy management in the background
- Fixes to system processes that were keeping the processor active for no reason.

The revised version is only available to registered developers through the Apple Developer Program.
If you have the first Developer Beta of iOS 26 installed, it's recommended that you update directly to the revised version via Settings > General > Software Update.
