Apparently, the latest leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra bring two new "disappointing" - based on expectations - details: battery and charging.

Around 5000 mAh is again the most likely capacity - same as the S20/S23/S25 Ultra models. Tipster PandaFlash (PandaFlash Pro) reports that Samsung will probably not increase the battery above 5 400 mAh, again opting for the conservative route
Some others -even earlier- had talked about 5500 mAh , but there are no indications that this will be cut or confirmed in the final model.
Samsung seems to be continuing with 45 W wired charging, meaning without the big jump that other companies have made (90-150 W). From the leaks it is included that the charging speed will not be increased either.

Why "disappointment"?
Analysts cite two reasons:
- Inertia compared to the Chinese market that already puts 6 000-7 000 mAh units.
- Samsung's central choice to keep the models thin - so less space for more battery.
The S26 Ultra is in the early leaks stage, so nothing is official yet. Samsung hasn't confirmed either the official capacity or charging speeds.
Feature | Current Rumour |
Battery | ≈5 000 mAh, possibly up to 5 500 mAh |
Loading | 45 W wired |
Commentary | Conservative choice compared to the competition |
Although the S26 Ultra looks powerful in terms of AI, cameras and design, the battery and charging will probably NOT be upgraded substantially compared to the S25 Ultra.
