Samsung is developing the new version of its operating system, One UI 8, based on Android 16.

While the company has not officially announced the list of devices that will participate in the beta program, we can make estimates based on past practices and update policies.

The beta program is expected to start with the Galaxy S25 series, with possible expansion to other devices later. Samsung typically launches the beta program in select markets, including the US, Germany, South Korea, India, UK, Poland and China. Greece is not usually included in the initial markets of the beta program, but users can participate through alternative methods.
The official release of One UI 8 is expected to start in July or August 2025, with the new Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 devices coming with One UI 8 pre-installed.
