Apple has officially released iOS 18.5 for iPhone, bringing a number of improvements and new features ahead of the launch of iOS 19 at WWDC 2025.

What's new in iOS 18.5
- Satellite connectivity for iPhone 13: iPhone 13 users who subscribe to a compatible carrier, such as T-Mobile in the US, can now send messages via satellite when there is no cellular coverage.
- Updates to the Mail application: Restore the "All Messages" view and the ability to hide contact photos, making it easier to navigate your inbox.
- Screen Time improvements: Parents receive notifications when the Screen Time code is entered on the child's device, enhancing parental control.
- New Pride Harmony wallpaper: A new wallpaper to celebrate Pride Month is added to the available options.

- Shopping via Apple TV on third-party devices: Support for content purchases on the Apple TV app via iPhone, even on third-party devices.
- Guarantee information: The details of the AppleCare Plus warranty and coverage are now displayed more prominently in the device settings.
To update your iPhone:
- Go to Settings.
- Select General.
- Tap Update Software.

The availability of certain features may vary depending on the device and region.
Satellite messaging via T-Mobile is available for free in the US until July.
