Samsung is working on developing its first tri-fold smartphone, which is expected to be released in the second half of 2025.

This device will feature a screen that folds into three parts, offering a size of up to 10 inches when fully open. Its design will allow it to fold inwards, protecting the screen from external damage.

Meanwhile, Samsung plans to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 in 2025, with improved displays and upgraded features. However, the tri-fold smartphone is expected to be released as a separate model, possibly under the name "Galaxy G Fold".

Production will be limited, with around 200,000 units, and the price is estimated to be over $2,500, making it a premium option for consumers.

Although the exact release date has not been confirmed, Samsung's tri-fold smartphone is expected to be unveiled in the third quarter of 2025, possibly alongside the new Galaxy Z series models.

This move shows the company's effort to innovate and compete with other manufacturers, such as Huawei, in the field of foldable devices.
