Samsung has announced that One UI 7, based on Android 15, will officially launch alongside the Galaxy S25 series, which is expected to be unveiled on January 22, 2025.

Following the launch of the S25 series, the update will be rolled out gradually to older Galaxy devices.
The beta version of One UI 7 launched in December 2024 for select markets, offering users a first look at new features and enhancements. Galaxy S24 series users were able to participate in the beta program through the Samsung Members app.
The official release of the stable version for older devices is expected to begin after the launch of the S25 series, with updates being rolled out gradually to compatible devices.

One UI 7 brings significant improvements, including the integration of advanced AI features, a revamped interface design and an improved user experience.
In particular, it includes the Now Bar, which allows direct access to important functions from the lock screen, as well as upgraded call functions with automatic transcription in 29 languages.
Overall, Samsung continues to support its older devices by offering software updates that improve performance and security, ensuring a continuous and improved user experience.
