The explosions continue unabated and the FBI is concerned about terrorism.
As we said in another our article, the brand new Galaxy Note 7s began exploding while charging at a rate that forced Samsung to create a global recall program for the model that is projected to cost it more than $1 billion.
But because there are no devices to replace existing ones, many owners are reluctant to return their device, resulting in an alarming increase in the number of incidents with equally alarming results.
Below we have some incidents that prove the truth and show how dangerous the new device is and how dangerous it is for a company to produce something looking only at beauty and not at quality and safety. The sad thing is that all of this came from a company that is no accident and has not used us to such oversights until now.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7: explosion in a hotel
Mr Tham Hua had been leaning back to rest in his room at the hotel where he was staying in Perth, Australia, when the Galaxy Note 7 he had exploded while charging, causing over 1,400$ of damage.
In his words:
"The phone was literally fried. I hadn't removed the sim card or the SD card. I was using the original charger and cable, in case you're wondering. It punctured the pillow and sheet and destroyed the room's carpet when I threw it down while burning a finger in the attempt.
As I saw, it was a small explosion. First it sizzled and then it exploded, giving off smoke and flame. I almost had a panic attack as it woke me up suddenly."
And it concludes: "Don't use this device, it's too dangerous to be worth it."
I knew about the withdrawal programme and had already applied and was waiting when, three days later, this happened to me."
As far as damages are concerned, Samsung will pay the ... marble.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7: explosion destroys Jeep
Nathan Dornacher had bought his new Note 7 just a few days ago. As he says, he didn't know about the recall.
Fortunately no one was in his car when the device exploded. Dornacher and his wife, their 8-year-old daughter and dog had been at a bazaar Monday morning in celebration of Labor Day.
On their return home, the cell phone was left plugged in to charge while Dornacher and his wife unloaded a desk from the trunk. After staying in the house for a while, he told his daughter to go back to the Jeep when, looking out the window, he saw it engulfed in flames.
Although the insurance company will pay his damages, Dornacher says he lost thousands of dollars from changes and improvements he had made to it. Although a fan of the iPhone earlier, Dornacher turned to Samsung when he saw the Note series and especially the Note 7, which he even got. After that, he never bought another Samsung product again. Now, if Apple wanted to make a commercial with a story like that, it certainly came in a box.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7: explosion injures 6-year-old child
Things get more serious when you're dealing with children. According to the New York Post, a six-year-old Brooklyn boy suffered burns as a Galaxy Note 7 exploded in his hands last weekend.
The boy's grandmother says the device burst into flames while the child was watching videos on her screen. The grandmother adds that the fire set off the fire alarm, and the child was eventually taken to Downstate Medical Center to be treated for severe burns all over his body.
Samsung S7 Edge: explosion inside a cafe
And so for a change in the menu we have an S7 Edge, the twin smaller model of the Note 7 with the same hardware though.
About two days after the above incident with the six-year-old boy, a different Samsung model exploded in the hands of a teacher, a mother of two. According to reports, thirty-year-old Sarah Crockett was in a crowded cafeteria when she realised her relatively new - three-month-old - Samsung S7 Edge started "blowing up like a balloon".
Immediately afterwards he began to smoke (out of anger?) and then melted (in love, perhaps?) into "a useless heap". And because, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work, a security camera recorded the incident so Apple can use it in future commercials.
Watch the video
The incident happened in the Witham café in Essex, England. According to the owner: "It suddenly bubbled up in my hands and at the same time it burned terribly. I threw it on the table and in seconds it started to smoke and I jumped up to escape. The whole apparatus had become a barbecue." (is Samsung doing experiments with the BIG-BANG and the expansion of the universe and we don't know it?)
After all that, to hear again all those who were offended by the "outdated" design of the iPhone 7
