Apple gave an iPhone 7 Plus to an NFL league photographer and the results were dazzling.
Just before the iPhone 7 officially hit stores, Apple gave Sports Illustrated photographer David E. Klutho an iPhone 7 Plus to use at the Tennessee Titans' football (they call it soccer) game against the Minnesota Vikings.
As we now know, the iPhone 7 Plus has the camera with two 12-megapixel lenses each - one 1.8f wide-angle and the other 2.8f telephoto. It's a big leap in mobile photography, as it no longer challenges professional cameras and can be a valuable tool in the hands of a professional photographer. Combined with several notable and high-end applications, they give it the ability to have the equivalent settings of a DSLR in photo and video.
In fact, apart from its ability to capture excellent quality, vibrant and colour perfect photos, thanks to the telephoto lens, it can also take excellent photos from a distance with incredible detail that you wouldn't expect from anything but a very good professional camera.
Although the pictures Apple showed us at the iPhone presentation were brilliant, they were not exactly mind-blowing. But the photos taken by the magazine's professional photographer tell a completely different story, as in his hands, the iPhone's camera was able to really "show its teeth".
Below you will see some of the photos that we have included and that prove the truth of the matter. If you want a full gallery of photos taken with Klutho's iPhone 7 Plus for Sports Illustrated you can go to Magazine
in order to enjoy them at your leisure.
And remember, incredible as it may seem, they were really taken with an iPhone 7 Plus.
