Android 16 Beta 3: Google introduces some new practical features

Google recently released the third beta of Android 16, introducing several new features and improvements:

Auracast support for hearing aids with Bluetooth LE: Android 16 adds support for Auracast, allowing users to connect their hearing aids directly to audio streams in public places such as airports or concert venues.
Outline Text for improved readability: For visually impaired users, Android 16 introduces the "outline text" feature, which surrounds text with a high-contrast outline, greatly improving readability.

Local Network Protection: A new feature that gives users greater control over the applications that access their local network devices, enhancing security and privacy.
Updates Live Updates: Android 16 introduces dynamic screen lock notifications for applications such as transportation and food delivery services, allowing users to monitor the progress of these services in real time.

In addition, Beta 3 marks the achievement of "Platform Stability", indicating that developers can adapt their apps for the final version of Android 16, which is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2025.
