Apple with iOS 18 brings a major upgrade to the process of sharing Wi-Fi passwords, making it easier to share them between iPhone and Android devices. Let's take a closer look at what this means and how it works.

The new feature in iOS 18 allows users to easily share their Wi-Fi password with Android devices via QR Code or other means. Until now, sharing Wi-Fi passwords was limited to iOS devices only, using the "Share Password" feature.
The iPhone user can generate a QR Code containing the Wi-Fi network connection details. This QR Code can be scanned by an Android device to connect to the same Wi-Fi network.
Another method is sharing via Bluetooth. Users can send the Wi-Fi password to nearby Android devices connected via Bluetooth.
There is also the possibility of sharing via NFC. iPhone devices can send the Wi-Fi password to NFC-enabled Android devices.
Steps to Share Wi-Fi Password from iPhone to Android
With QR Code:
- Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi on your iPhone.
- Click on the network you are connected to.
- Select "Share" or "Share" and the QR Code is generated.
- Scan the QR Code with the camera of your Android device.

By introducing these features in iOS 18, Apple is showing a clear commitment to improving the user experience and promoting interoperability between different platforms. These changes make sharing Wi-Fi simpler and more practical for all users.
