Samsung has unveiled One UI 7, the new version of its custom user interface based on Android 15.

The upgrade started to be available on April 7, 2025 for select devices, including the Galaxy S24, Fold 6 and Flip 6, and is expected to be rolled out to more models in the future.

The main changes and improvements brought by One UI 7 include:

  • Refreshed home screen and widgets: The home screen has been simplified, with less visual clutter, while the widgets and lock screen have been redesigned for a better user experience.
  • Now Bar: A new notification feature that resembles Apple's Dynamic Island appears at the bottom of the screen and shows real-time activities such as music, recordings and a timer.
