Apple seems to be facing significant problems with the latest beta version of watchOS 11.1, which has been recalled due to serious bugs that led to the "brick" of Apple Watch.

This update, although focused on optimizations and code fixes (such as the font problem in some applications), eventually caused more serious issues.
When an Apple Watch "bricks", it essentially can't be restarted or used, rendering it unusable until it's repaired by an authorised centre.
Unfortunately, users are not able to restore their device to an older software version on their own, due to the limitations of watchOS upgrades.

This problem is not unprecedented for Apple, as similar issues have previously occurred with other devices, such as the iPad Pro with the M4 processor, after upgrading to iPadOS 18.
It seems that the differentiation of code for each device and the ongoing changes in Apple's ecosystem (such as the development of the rumored homeOS) create additional challenges for the company.
Despite the withdrawal of the problematic beta, users who have already installed this version and are experiencing problems cannot do much but wait for a patch to be released or contact an authorized repair center to recover the functionality of their device.
