It's easy to change the default font every time in the Word. But why not set your own favourite?
The Word is a very powerful application, used by millions of people around the world. And while we all know how to change the font in the current document, we've never thought about whether we could apply these changes to every new document so we don't have to repeat the process every time.
If we write texts frequently, there is no need to waste time, so we can change the font and set the one of our choice from the beginning.
The process is very simple:
- Open a document and we go to where it says Normal.
- Click to copy right click and select modify.
- Then we select the font we want and the size, if we wish to change it.
- Before we press OK, we remember to tick this box saying "new documents based on this template" so that each new document opens with these attributes.
If we take a closer look at the formatting menu, we can see that we can configure other features so that the document opens and writes directly bold, italic, even letters with specific Color.
