NoLikesYet.com, the dark side of Instagram

The worst nightmare on Instagram, your photo getting no likes, is now in the form of a site.

We all upload a photo to Instagram, either the best or the worst, and wait for the first little heart to appear. Ten minutes later, we open the app to check our progress. We refresh, we open the app, but no one has liked it. In half an hour, we seriously consider taking the photo down. Does no likes mean no one likes it or that no one has seen it yet? Not even one like out of sympathy? Why?

Failure on social media is embarrassing on multiple levels. The creators of No Like Yet thought of something like this and created a site to console "failures" on instagram.

The way it works is as follows: you have to log in using your username and password on Instagram and immediately afterwards you will be faced with an endless stream of photos that don't even have a single like! If you want, you can check out the most boring photos of your friends or even your own, or take a look at the most miserable photos of the whole world. You can also tap the first like, which will appear out of nowhere on the user's, so far, failed photo. You will have made his day!

If you are looking for a way to lower your own self-esteem, visit your own, indifferent to others, photos. Unfortunately, you can't like them. Instead, you can fret that none of your friends have appreciated that lovely photo you took some time ago.
