Did you miss the 80's movies? The best 80's movie of the year is here!
See for free the Kung Fury, an over-the-top short film (30 minutes), which is a tribute to the action and martial arts crime films of the 80's.
The film was financed by the Kickstarter, where they gathered 630.019 $, for the Swedish production team.
This film may not be suitable for everyone, but at least it is free and it is obvious that all participants in the project have put a lot of effort into it.
Sure the film is too much, but that was exactly the result the production team promised to deliver. It's not the first film to be created through crowdfunding, but it's one of the ones that have generated the most Hype (dope).
What could be better than being able to choose, with our money, the films we want produced and then watch them on the "big screen" or for free from our living room?

Plot
In 1985 Miami, police officer Kung Fury captures a red ninja with the help of his colleague Dragon. Then suddenly the red ninja cuts Dragon in half. Before he can react, Kung Fury is struck by lightning and bitten by a Cobra. This gives him incredible martial arts skills and he defeats the Red Ninja.
So far the story is conventional. Next Kung Fury will meet Viking and fight Adolf Hitler with the help of a dinosaur.
Soundtrack
The soundtrack of the film is a "classic" 80's song performed by David Hasselhoff.

Surprisingly, the trailer has Greek subtitles while the film does not. (Not yet translated)
At least for now he has subtitles in English, which will help many people to watch the film more comfortably (including me).
To activate subtitles, tap "CC". If English does not appear automatically, select it from the "gear", located right next to "CC".
On iPhone or iPad tap on the "cloud", bottom right.
