Seven Android smartphones with better cameras than the iPhone 6S.

The new iPhone 6S has received rave reviews for its admittedly amazing camera, as has always been the case with every new model in the range. But things have started to change recently. Earlier this year, some top Android models like the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the LG G4 have shown that they can compete with it, something that until recently seemed ... sacrilegious.

From the moment the iPhone 6S (and 6S Plus), it was automatically assumed that its camera would be superior to anyone else's, but recent tests have shown that's probably not the case, at least based on the DxOMark. It goes without saying that this year's models of the iPhone produced high-fidelity photos better than last year's (the "simple" 6). And overall, the iPhone's camera functionality and overall experience is slightly better than that of the Galaxy S6.

However, the best-known test for cameras, the DxOMark, finally tried his camera iPhone 6S and concluded that, although the megapixel have increased from 8 at 12, the photo quality is essentially the same as last year's iPhone 6. The test resulted in a score of 83 for the photos and 80 for the video he gives us 82 overall final score. That's exactly what last year's iPhone 6. The worst thing, however, is that there are now 7 Android smartphone higher up the scale.

Apple has achieved slightly better detail in bright light and autofocus continues to be fast and accurate, but the DxOMark says that the iPhone 6S noise levels are significantly higher than those of its competitors.

Currently, the DxOMark has placed the Sony Xperia Z5 as the best smartphone camera with an overall score of up to 87. The leader so far, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge falls to second place with 86 degrees. The surprise is the next one which is the Google Nexus 6P with 84, then comes the LG G4 by 83, which is on par with the Galaxy Note 4 (83), Moto X Style (83) and then comes the Xperia Z3 by 82 with which the iPhone 6S also with 82 points. Here, the Xperia Z3 seems to be one "click" above the iPhone 6S in the diagram and so the 6S comes in 8th place but DxOMark does not explain why. Logically, if they tie, the iPhone could be in 7th place. We will see that the same is true for the tied 83 of the test where even the Moto X Style is a bit "shorter" than the other two.

You may have seen that the iPhone 6S Plus is missing from the test. This is because the DxOMark has not finished testing with him, but based on last year's results that brought the iPhone 6 Plus in relation to the iPhone 6, we probably won't see any substantial differences.

Of course there are others who are testing cameras smartphone every year and it is very likely that their results will not be consistent. But the good news - for us end-users - is that there's a fierce war going on right now over who has the best camera, to the point where quality is rising to levels that no one could have imagined just a few years ago. We can't imagine what will happen next year.

It is also certain that the Apple will not fatalistically accept "its defeat" and will rather do its best (and we know what that means) so that the camera of iPhone 7 "making eyes." Besides, rumors are already swirling that he is working on the technology dual-lens (like Samsung) which would then make the (mid-range at least) DSLR cameras literally shaking.
