If you're lucky enough to own both Apple devices, take the comparison test. We're waiting for your opinion.

You have lived and remember the time when the iPod was the pride and joy of Apple. Back when the little white music player had turned the world upside down, changing the way we listened to music on the road? The iPod was a truly huge Apple success, the shine of which only began to fade after 2007, when the iPhone debuted on the market.

The phenomenon is real. People are no longer as interested in iPods as they are in Mp3 players in general. And why should they care? More and more people are walking around with iPhones and other smartphones that can play and store music just like they would with an iPod.

It's not just the price that discourages people from buying it. It's also the fact that it has reduced features compared to an iPhone that has it all and ... it's affordable.

But if we isolate these important details and focus purely on the music, what is the conclusion? Does a piece of music sound better on an iPhone or an iPod, and if so, which iPod of all?

In general, it's hard to notice a huge difference in sound quality. This is because both the hardware and the software used for playback are identical in both types of devices.

There are only two things that can make a difference: the quality (bitrate) of the mp3 music file and the headphones or an external speaker.
