Apple has released new beta versions for its operating systems on phones, tablets, computers, watches, set-top boxes and AR headsets.

iOS 18.1 focuses primarily on Apple Intelligence, while fixing performance issues related to using the new Siri UI on large Apple CarPlay screens.

Currently, iOS 18 is in its sixth beta version, which introduces features like Place ID in Apple Maps, a unique and permanent identifier. Also, when you add your ID to Wallet, you may be asked to take a photo to prevent fraud.

Developers for Apple Vision Pro can test the sixth beta of visionOS 2, which allows for greater flexibility in app placement and supports the use of game controllers to interact with the user interface.

MacOS Sequoia 15 beta 6 brings fixes, and an improvement for users with limited storage space, as the App Store now only requires the necessary space to download and install apps, instead of twice the size.

The stable version of iOS 18 is expected in the autumn, with iOS 18.1 following shortly after.
