iOS 9.3 will allow us to hide Apple apps (Stock Apps) that we don't want, but it won't be easy.

Although a "little problem" was recently discovered (glitch) in iOS 9.2 that allowed users to hide their corporate applications Apple (Stock Apps), which occupy the home screen, however, upon restarting the iPhone (or our iOS device in general), the apps would return to their previous location.

But now, perhaps in a move designed to please the majority, Apple has announced that it will present an official solution - with the iOS 9.3 - that will allow users to hide the company's apps they don't want on their home screen. The only downside, unfortunately, is that achieving this will not be a "walk in the park" and is not recommended for the uninitiated.

How we will be able to hide apps in iOS 9.3

Until now, the best way to hide Apple's corporate apps was to jailbreak your device - apart from the glitch we mentioned above.

But as we said, Apple now presents an official method to achieve this. To do this, we'll need the Apple Configurator 2.2 beta.

Step 1:

To download Apple Configurator 2.2, you will need an account apple developer - yours or a friend's. After you log-in you can download it from here.

Step 2:

Start the Apple Configurator 2.2 and press Command + N to create a new profile. Under General you can give it a name (all other fields can be left blank).

Step 3:

From the left panel of the menus, select Restrictions > Apps > Do not allow some apps (under "Restrict App Usage").

Step 4:

Tap the icon "+" at the bottom left to add the apps you want to hide from your home screen. A search option will appear where you can enter the Bundle Identifier > Select the app from the list and then press the Choose. Thus, this application will be added to the "banned" list. Repeat the process for as many applications as you want to hide.

When you're done, simply save and close your profile.

Step 5:

Connect the iPhone at Mac you with the USB cable and restart Apple Configurator 2.2 beta. Once your device appears in the main window, right-click on it with the mouse and select Add Profile > find and then search for the profile you just created in the previous step.

Step 6:

Your iPhone should be unlocked (enter your PIN) and each dialog box in the iPhone and in Mac to be answered as it should be. You will then be taken to the menu Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management. That is where you will need to enter your profile.

Once this is done, you will be able to see the applications you have hidden listed under the "Restrict App Usage" and they will immediately disappear from your home screen.

That's it, you're done. To restore the applications to their previous position, you will again have to go to Apple Configurator 2.2 and reverse the hiding process you did, or simply delete the profile you created by going to the Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management.
