You too can turn your Facebook and Instagram images into works of art!

If you have ever uploaded a photo to Facebook or at Instagram it's possible there's a secret ASCII version of your image. We'll show you how to view it.

It is not known what the purpose of this conversion is, but it is most likely that search engines use the generated image to classify and search for photos.

The procedure to follow is simple. You need to select the photo you want to convert to a photo of your choice. lo-fi ASCII image.

The image you choose should be public. You should find the URL of the image you want to convert. The easiest way is to select the image and right-click to select "open the image in a new tab".

Alternatively you can right-click and select "check." or "item inspection" and find the address URL of the image.

The URL that you find should end in .jpg otherwise the conversion will not work!

Click on the URL and add after the .jpg extension:

.txt To create a black and white ASCII version of your photo.

.html For a more impressive colorful ASCII display.

On Facebook you will have a hard time finding suitable images. For some reason after .jpg there is a string of characters and if we convert the URL, nothing appears.

On Instagram the process brings more frequent results!
