Apple Watch Ultra 2: It becomes official and looks great!

During the Wonderlust event, Apple announced its new line of wearables, the Apple Watch Series 9, as well as the Apple Watch Ultra 2, including new iPhone models from the iPhone 15 series.

The new Apple Watch Series 9 retains the sleek design of the previous model, with a titanium and sapphire composition, although it features several improvements:

  • Its display has a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, making it the brightest Apple Watch ever.
  • It features a new, faster chipset, the Apple S9, which is based on the Apple A15 chip used in the iPhone 13 series.
  • Siri is now built into the device for faster and safer use.
  • It offers new possibilities for cycling, providing an enhanced experience for cyclists.
  • There are new colours available for the straps, allowing users to choose the style that best suits themselves.

Design-wise, Apple Watch Ultra 2 retains a similar look to the previous model, with a titanium case and sapphire glass to protect the screen. The digital crown and customizable Action Button remain in place for easy interaction.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 is available in a 49 mm size. Plus, it features an ultra-bright display with a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, providing excellent visibility.

The new Apple S9 chip improves the performance of apple watch by building on the Apple A15 chip, offering better performance and efficiency. In addition, Apple Watch Ultra 2 is dust-resistant and waterproof up to 100 metres, and is certified to MIL-STD 810H, making it resistant to rugged use and adventures.

Plus, Apple Watch Ultra 2 supports an altitude range of -500 to 9000 metres, satisfying adventure enthusiasts.

Finally, the new ultra-wideband chip allows you to accurately track the location of your iPhone, enhancing the connectivity and practicality of the device.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is now available for pre-order, with a starting price of $799. Deliveries are expected to begin on September 22. It is also expected to become available in the US on the same date.
