Apple Music Festival at London's Roundhouse. Get the details.
Every year, with the arrival of September, Apple holds a music event that has become an institution. The iTunes Festival is now associated with the digital music revolution and its globalization. Thirty nights, with free admission (of course with the invitation system), take place in an amazing concert venue, the London's Roundhouse.
Of course, every year the biggest names in the music industry are present. Who can forget the incredible show Lady Gaga put on at the 2013 event?

Of course, there are already several musicians represented at the event and the lucky attendees come from different musical backgrounds.
Apple Music
Along with the launch of Apple Music, we all expected a lot of changes. And at the festival. And we weren't wrong. This year, for the first time, the festival won't have a thirty-day run, but will instead feature very carefully selected artists for (only) ten nights, from September 19-28. So far only a handful of artists have been announced for this year's line up and they are Pharrell, One Direction, Florence + The Machine & Disclosure. A few but strong names I would add.

Broadcast of the festival & Statements
As usual, this year Apple will broadcast all concerts live, with high-definition video. In addition, this year's promo text mentions that there will be backstage news this year, with Beats 1 station and iTunes' Connect starring.
Eddy Cue (Apple's Vice President of Internet Software & Services) said:
"We wanted to do something different for music lovers this year. Apple Music Festival is a set of greatest hits over ten incredible nights, alongside the best performers on the planet, who in addition to their live performances will have a special connection with the audience through Beats 1 and Connect."
Epilogue
To summarize: the duration of the festival has been reduced from 30 days to 10 and Apple promises us the best performers. The name "iTunes Festival" is forgotten (we say now, it can't be done) and we now refer to it as "Apple Music Festival".
On the other hand, Apple seems willing to "engage" more with the event this year. Some people will like the communication with the artists and the company will be able to "push" its new brands, "Apple Music", "Beats 1" & "Connect".
