With iOS 10.1 public beta, "Portrait Mode" is enabled on iPhone 7 Plus
Today Friday, even theoretically, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were released in our country. Theoretically, because as it turns out, anyone who has his eye on the company's phablet, will probably have to wait a long time, as in our country arrived few pieces, and for many, none (!).

I specifically mentioned the iPhone 7 Plus because the subject of this article is mainly about this device. Apple, delivered to developers and public testers the first test version of iOS 10.1. With this version, Apple is attempting to do a fine tuning in iOS, that is, to do the "packing" and eliminate the bugs of the first official version.
Most importantly though (and this is where the "Plus" comes into play), the 10.1 beta enables Portrait Mode in the device's camera app. This is probably one of the features that won the day at this year's Keynote.
When using the camera, in addition to the familiar modes (video, photo, etc.), now, users of Apple's phablet, have the possibility to use a new one, the Portrait Mode, in which the user, in real time when previewing the photo, can see the "depth effect", which is really impressive.
The device automatically recognizes the face of the photo and using the second lens, it "blurs" the background while focusing on the "subject". The live preview is impressive, as it gives us a full picture of the final result before we capture the photo.
At the same time, the "normal" version is also saved, which helps us to make the final comparison of the effect, but also to save the "moment" in a "traditional" photo.
Although we have downloaded and installed this new version, we are not yet able to test Portrait Mode and show you examples (we have all seen the official Apple ones), due to the lack of iPhone 7 Plus in the Greek market. We hope the availability problems will be quickly restored and the relevant availability will be available.
Now, regarding the iOS beta, all indications are that Apple will quickly deliver the Portrait Mode feature, most likely in October. Those who can get the company's phablet and "can't wait", you can through Apple's public beta program install this trial version and enjoy (more) the amazing - dual camera of the iPhone 7 Plus.
