Today, we will see how we can share internet from our Mac computer to other devices, whether they are laptops or smartphones.<\/p>\n<p>Click \"\uf8ff\" &gt; <strong>System Preferences<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Sharing<\/strong> &gt; (options on the left) <strong>Internet Sharing<\/strong>. On the right, we first select our \"source\", i.e. the way our computer receives the data. And below that, we choose how we want to transmit it.<\/p>\n<p>Here we should note that the way our computer receives the data (source) should be different from the way it transmits it. A realistic and useful example is the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select the ethernet port as the source (if there is wired access)<\/li>\n<li>And as a mode of transmission, Wi-Fi<\/li>\n<li>\"Tick\" the \"Network Sharing\" option on the left and select \"Start\" in the dialog box that will pop up.<\/li>\n<li>In this way, we create a hotspot network, just like we would on our iPhone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the example in the video below, because there was no access to a wired network, we chose to have our computer receive data from the iPhone wired (via USB). In this case, we need to have the personal hotspot option enabled in <strong>iPhone<\/strong> us.<\/p>\n<p>We could also receive the data via <strong>Wi-Fi<\/strong> from our router and relay them through the ethernet port to another computer, such as a laptop with a faulty Wi-Fi chip.<\/p>\n<p>See at <strong>video<\/strong> below, the actions we need to take to activate the service
